The medical facility provided care for Amelia Scala (left), the daughter of DQ manager, Jayne Scala (right). Amelia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of five. Today, she is in remission and the bubbly young girl and her family, including brother A.J. and grandma Helen DiLuca, the restaurant’s owner, are thinking of ways to reach their $10,000 fundraising goal for 2011. 295002 Fun at VBS BIG SMILE: Nay Tay shows off his happy face during Calvin Christian Reformed Church’s Vacation Bible School recently. The event saw more than 50 children register for the week-long program, which included games, snacks, stories, crafts and singing.
